Shannen Doherty (April 12, 1971 – July 13, 2024) was a Tennessee born actress who played Jenny Wilder on Little House on the Prairie. She made her acting debut onto television at the age of ten on the Michael Landon show Father Murphy Doherty played an orphaned girl named Drusilla Shannon who was raised in the mountains and just discovered civilization. This is often said to be her ticket into Little House.[1]
Not long after Little House finished, she played Shelley Fowler on the Highway to Heaven episode "The Secret". Other than these shows, Doherty also had roles on Our House, Beverly Hills, 90210, and Charmed.
