Ruth Foster (b. January 29, 1920 Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - d. May 12, 2012 in Del Mar, California, USA) played Melinda Foster on Little House on the Prairie.
Biography[]
She was otherwise know as Miss Fleming on the 60s TV series Ben Casey. She had worked with Michael Landon before on Bonanza and Highway to Heaven in 1989, which was her last role as an actress.
Ruth was involved in acting as early as twelve in the theater. She was married to fellow actor Peter James for an unknown period of time and they had three children. As of 1997, she had been reported living in Greensboro, North Carolina. She died of natural causes.
