The National Broadcasting Company (NBC) is a television network headquartered in the GE Building in New York City's Rockefeller Center, that produced and aired Little House on the Prairie from September 11, 1974, to March 21, 1983. It is a division of NBCUniversal, which is owned by cable company Comcast.

NBC also broadcast Bonanza from 1959 to 1973 and Highway to Heaven from 1984 to 1989. They also broadcast Miami Vice also from 1984 to 1989, which premiered a year after Little House on the Prairie ended, Columbo from 1968 to 2003, Hunter from 1984 to 1991, Friends from 1994 to 2004 and Homicide: Life on the Street from 1993 to 1999.
