Henry Holbrook is the Stepfather of Caroline Ingalls and wife to her mother, as a child Caroline missed her real father and disliked him, but soon she learned to love him as he started to bond with her. In Episode 611: Author! Author! his wife died and he became depressed, but soon his family helped him sort out his life and he became an author and wrote about his family life.
