Mary begins to see light again and the entire family hopes she will soon recover her sight. She and Charles travel to visit the eye doctor for tests and a professional assessment. Meanwhile, Adam struggles with the possibility of Mary regaining her vision and what that means for their future. An excited Laura recruits Albert to help her fix up the Mr. Edward's old shack for Mary's return. Nels Oleson donates his unsold paint to Laura's project.
