Here comes the Brides was the 12th episode of Season 4 of Little House on the Prairie, the 80th overall episode in the series. Co-penned by John T. Dugan and Robert F. Metzler, the episode, which was directed by William F. Claxton, was ooriginally aired on NBC-TV on December 5, 1977.
Storyline[]
When Adam Simms and his son Luke move to town, Adam instantly takes a liking to Miss Beadle. In this episode Luke and Nellie fall in love too. After Nellie talks to Miss Beadle, she and Luke run away to have a very short-lived marriage. This episode features one of the first looks at the softer side of Nellie's personality.
