Baby Boy Wilder was the second child of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Almanzo Wilder, the brother of Rose Wilder, and the adoptive brother of Jenny Wilder.

Biography

Laura had two things to celebrate. Rose's birthday and Christmas. She also had a surprise she was having another child. She ended up getting her first son. Worried he might pass since boys don't run much in her family, she had Doc Baker examine him thoroughly. To her relief he is healthy. However, he soon dies the following night and Laura blames Doc Baker for it during the burial. (Episode 918: A Child With No Name) The online encyclopedia reveals that Baby Boy Wilder died from influenza Laura contracted months before the baby's birth.
